LIVINGSTON, NJ — Two home burglaries were recently reported in Livingston, police said Tuesday.
Livingston Police released the following details for each incident:
Burglary – “On July 31st at 12pm, Livingston officers responded to a burglary report at a residence on Fordham Road. Upon arrival, officers met with the owner who advised them that the home was undergoing renovations/remodeling and had been burglarized sometime within the last few weeks. The home's doors, copper pipes, plumbing and electrical components were stolen. The Livingston Detective Bureau is investigating.”

Stolen vehicles / burglary – “On August 3rd at 7:50 a.m., Livingston officers responded to a report of two stolen vehicles at a residence on North Rockledge Drive. Upon arrival, officers met the homeowner who advised them that they had woken up that morning to find two of their vehicles, a Mazda and an Infiniti, had been stolen. The Mazda was parked in the driveway and the Infinity was in the garage. At some point during the overnight hours, the suspects entered an unlocked Honda in the driveway and used the garage door opener to open the garage. The suspects then entered the dirt lock and stole the keys to the Mazda and Infiniti, after which they stole both vehicles. The vehicles were found a short time later in Newark. The Livingston Detective Bureau is investigating.”
