This 3,200 square meter property is home to a retired couple and a treasured gift from their children. The brief they gave to the versatile architect Sahiba Madan was complex. A bit of Jaipur palaces; a little of the whitewashed walls of Mykonos; a little wooden structure of a house in Kerala; and very similar to the earthy and green Vrindavan of yesteryear.
The parents' bathroom, micro-concreted in soothing green. A cylindrical standalone sink is complemented by a ceiling-mounted spout and serves as a unique sculptural feature.

Set in a residential area of Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad characterized by conventional architecture, this striking house emerges – a contemporary presence that contrasts with its more typical surroundings. Designed by Sona Reddy Studio, this 11,000 square meter, three-story project reinterprets tradition with a modern perspective, with the dialogue between brutalist aesthetics and vibrant interior design woven into every corner.
One of the bathrooms features a striking marble countertop, its sharp geometric details accented by a jet black sink. A brass mirror adds a touch of understated glamor and completes the room with finesse.
