We offer free, no-obligation workshops where potential candidates can find out more about training pathways, qualifications, building a portfolio, ACS and the possibility of Gas Safe registration.
Start your career
Our plumbing and heating packages are ideal for young people or school leavers working alongside experienced plumbers and for more experienced learners looking for a career change. For entry-level plumbing jobs, our Bronze package offers learners a Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing and Heating. It provides the knowledge and skills necessary for a career in plumbing and lays the foundation for further training in related industries, such as: B. gas technology. Building on this, the Silver package adds an NVQ element for candidates who require a CSCS card. This route covers the WRAS water regulations and allows successful candidates to apply for a JIB Plumbing Skills Card and Approved Plumber status. Our Gold and Platinum packages offer the highest earning potential and are based on our outstanding Managed Learning Program for Domestic Gas (MLP). This course addresses safety and energy efficiency and includes free air source heat pump training.
After completing the MLP you will be able to complete an ACS assessment which will enable you to become a registered Gas Safe engineer. These packages all include flexible weekend learning and a range of basic plumbing tools to get you started.
Make the switch from plumbing to gas safe
If you already have technical knowledge and/or experience in a related profession such as plumbing or kitchen fittings, our Managed Learning Program for Domestic Gas (MLP) will give you the relevant qualifications and experience you need to register with Gas Safe and work Gas appliances are required in the household. We offer two levels of MLP, one for newbies and one for experienced tradespeople – we don't want you to cover things you already know, we want you to get your money's worth!
The training takes place in three phases: first in our training room and our gas workshop, where candidates can demonstrate their new skills in a safe and controlled environment. The next stage is an internship with a registered gas engineer where you will create a portfolio of gas work. Once this is completed, candidates can complete their ACS assessment and apply to join the Gas Safe register.
