Cadiz receives funding from water program

The village of Cadiz recently received funding from the Ohio Water Development Authority’s freshwater loan program.

Cadiz received a loan of $ 104,150 at an interest rate of 1.67% for five years. The loan was for water system improvements including 4,600 feet of waterline along Grant, Deersville and Jarvis Streets and US Route 250; the replacement of 1,572 water meters; and improvements to Edgar Hill and Grant Street storage tanks.
