Cascade Services Acquires Sun Plumbing In Florida And Smith & Keene Home Services In Virginia

Cascade Services, a leading residential real estate services platform, has has recently made two further acquisitions, These are their 10th and 11th acquisitions in the last 24 months.

Sun Plumbing, serves Brevard County In Florida This is Cascade's tenth acquisition since 1947 and the first fully focused plumbing company they have acquired. “Adding Sun Plumbing to our family of brands will allow us to expand our presence in the Melbourne, Florida market and provide our HVAC customers at Mid Florida Heating and Air and Kabran with a trusted plumbing partner,” Ty Johnson, CEO of Cascade Services, divided.

In addition, Cascade Services is pleased to welcome Smith and Keene Home Services LLC to its family of brands. Smith and Keene Home Services is a leading provider of heating, cooling, indoor air quality, plumbing and electrical installation and repair services to the Chesapeake And Greater Norfolk, VA markets.

“This transaction is the first of its kind for Cascade. The Smith and Keene Home Services business was a spin-off of the retail (installation) and service (repair) divisions from the new construction business of parent company Smith & Keene Electric Service, Inc., which had served the region since its founding in 1947. Smith & Keene Electric Service, Inc. will operate as S&K Electric upon completion of the transaction and will continue to provide the same high-quality service to its homebuilding customers. This was a complex transaction that included a transition services agreement for several of the companies' core functions, including accounting, information technology, marketing and human resources,” Johnson explained.

As the 11th addition to the Cascade Residential Services platform, Smith and Keene The team will continue to deliver with the same outstanding commitment to customers.
