Cheaper kitchen sinks as Canberra dismantles tariff barrier to China

The government in Albania is quietly winding down one of China's last trade disputes with Australia, which involves cheaper kitchen sinks for DIYers, but is prepared to maintain tariffs on Chinese-made railway wheels despite pressure from miners.

The discussions on the ongoing tariff dispute come at a time when the local fishing industry is still uncertain about when Beijing will lift its lobster export ban – a move announced as a result of the visit by Chinese Premier Li Qiang.
