CHESTER, NJ – The Borough of Chester is in the early stages of planning to expand its existing sewage system.
As part of this project, the underground dry pipes that run under the road need to be inspected. According to officials, the lines were laid many years ago but not used.
To assess their condition, the county hired Vortex, a closed camera television provider, to conduct these underground, internal inspections.
Although the roads will not be closed, residents should be aware that these vendors will be working in the area.
The project started Monday and the contractor estimates five days to complete inspections of the lines.
