Chinese plumber discovers giant salamander in residential water pipe

In an unexpected turn of events, a Chinese man arrives plumber Phichit based in Guangdong‘s Huizhou city, encountered a large living creature, a 40-centimeter salamander, while participating in a routine service visit. The discovery of the plumber within a Water pipe for private households has amazed and amused ever since on-line communities.

The incident occurred when Xue Hui was called to a customer’s home to fix a water pipe problem. However, the mundane task took an amazing turn when he discovered a life form living in the tube. The creature, a large, smooth salamander with a black body, large eyes and a wide mouth, was not only alive but also mobile. Plumber Xue Hui expressed his confusion on Chinese social media platform Weibo.

“I don’t know how it got into the sewer.”

Upon closer inspection and after carefully pulling the creature out of the pipe, it turned out to be a giant salamander. The powerful animal was around 40 centimeters long and weighed around 3.5 kilograms.

Xue Hui, who has been in the plumbing industry for many years, said he has never experienced such an incident before. Upon closer inspection of the giant salamander, he discovered that it was not a native wild animal species, but a breed of artificial origin. He figured it must have escaped from a breeding farm somewhere.

Xue Hui and the homeowner have since formed a friendship over the giant salamander. The homeowner has promised to keep and care for the salamander in his home. Since this bizarre incident was shared online, netizens have flooded the post with a flood of comments expressing their shock and amusement.
