Adam and Stacey Johnson have been the owners of Johnson Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, located at 914 5th Avenue NE, since summer 2021. They remodeled the company and opened a home furnishings store, And the Kitchen Sink, in 2023.
When it comes to plumbing, they service everything from repairing a leaky toilet or faucet to complete bathroom remodels.
“Our main equipment lines are Delta and Kohler and we have access to so many different options through our suppliers,” Stacey said. “We have an updated showroom with kitchen and bathroom fittings. We also offer various tub/shower combinations or just a shower unit. We also displayed a Bertch bathroom vanity with vanity top and faucet. My personal favorite is the freestanding tub we have in the front window. This plumbing showroom is a complement to our fireplaces on display. We also have a water softener and usually a Lennox furnace or air conditioner that we need to look at as well. We want our customers to be able to see for themselves the quality of the items they are investing in before purchasing. The showroom also helps in decision making when it comes to choosing faucets or other furnishings. It’s nice to be able to see and touch different styles and color finishes before making a decision.”
As a reminder from the HVAC industry, now is the time for annual air conditioning maintenance.
“And the kitchen sink offers a variety of home and seasonal decor,” Stacey said. “We also offer fun gift items for colleagues, friends, baby showers or wedding showers. Our memorial signs are very popular as gifts for difficult times in our lives. My favorite section in the store is our children's section, which has a wide range of books, from board books for the little ones to picture books and chapter books. There are also activity books, puzzles, soft toys and activity sets that make great birthday gifts or to entertain your children at home.”

The company has seen great growth since it opened. They repaved the parking lot last year and plan to update the signage outside and expand the fireplace showroom inside.
