Drain Cleaning: Dc Takes Stock Of Cleaning Of Drains | Patna News

Patna: On Wednesday, Patna district commissioner Kumar Ravi directed a pre-monsoon review of cleaning and desilting of drains across the city and directed the officials concerned to conduct a drone survey of the work on all nine major drains, which included the Elimination of encroachments on the sewerage system, cleaning work on catchment areas and shafts, as well as the establishment of an uninterruptible power supply at the drainage pumping stations. The divisional commissioner directed the officials to form separate teams and carry out inspection of small and large sewers to ensure smooth flow of water and complete all works by April 30. Ravi said that one of the main reasons for waterlogging is excessive rainfall in a short period of time. “To prevent this, pumps at all drainage pumping stations should remain operational,” he told officials.
