A Roto-Rooter driver checks out the damage to another Roto-Rooter truck that was driving Southbound on the 55 freeway and crashed through a fence striking two parked trucks in an industrial unit in Santa Ana. The crash happened at 7:50 a.m. this morning at Sunny Hills Cleans Fire and Flood damage at 1999 Ritchey Street in Santa Ana.
SANTA ANA – A man driving a Roto-Rooter truck was stuck on the southbound 55 just north of Dyer Road after slamming through a fence on the right shoulder, the California Highway Patrol says.
At 7:50 a.m., the CHP got reports that four vehicles were involved in a wreck and were disabled on the right shoulder.
One of the vehicles, a Roto-Rooter truck, also crashed through a fence and hit a parked car, CHP officer Gabe Montoya said.
The crash is under investigation but officers at the scene said that the man had a seizure, which likely caused him to lose control.
An ambulance was called to the scene.
