Emergency repairs commenced after pipe bursts near Fishcross

Emergency repairs have begun at the site on Collyland Road (B9140) between Fishcross and the roundabout leading to Glenochil and Alva.

During work to repair a burst pipe it was discovered that the road was damaged, necessitating a full road closure whilst repairs could be carried out safely.

They said: “While we carry out the repair work, some customers may experience loss of water supply, low/intermittent water pressure or discolored water.

“Scottish Water apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks local residents and businesses for their patience and understanding.”

Drivers are asked to avoid the road while repairs are being carried out. Anyone requiring further information can contact Scottish Water on 0800 0778 778.
