BHOPAL: Four bodies were found in a septic tank behind a house in Singrauli district on Saturday evening.
The bodies were discovered behind the house of one Hari Prasad Prajapati in Badokhar village near gate number 3 of Hindalco factory under Bargawan police station of the district.
When neighbors reached the house around 4 p.m. on Saturday after smelling a foul smell, they saw four bodies in the septic tank and then called the police. At the time the message was written, the bodies had not yet been recovered.
SP Singrauli, Manish Khatri, said, “There are four bodies lying in the septic tank. Efforts are being made to bring out the bodies. It was becoming increasingly difficult to remove the bodies using ladders, so JCB machines were used and a parallel trench was dug to recover the bodies.
“It was the neighbors, who are also relatives of the homeowners, who saw the bodies for the first time around 4 p.m. and informed the police. The identity of the deceased will be confirmed once the bodies are brought out, but that is prima facie.” “I suspect that the bodies are family members of the homeowners. After seeing the bodies from above, they suspect that it is one Suresh Prajapati, the son of the house owner,” he said.
According to sources, Suresh Prajapati, 30, son of Hari Prasad Prajapati, was seen at the premises by neighbors on January 1. Some people saw him the next day too. The house was open and a car was parked there; The car keys were also in the car, sources said.
