The plumbing and hardware specialist continues to develop the DPH channel
Gary Erickson's goal, in addition to leading his California-based company, is to advance the business and professional interests of the decorative plumbing and hardware products channel, a critical design and specification niche in the homebuilding market.
Erickson achieves this goal through a track record of service to the Decorative Plumbing & Hardware Association, a 300-member trade organization of independent dealers, suppliers, manufacturer representatives and other key players in the decorative plumbing and hardware industry.
Erickson, who began his career in 1987 at Snyder Diamond, a major kitchen and bath company in Southern California, is a partner and vice president of Renaissance Design Studio. The company's two luxury showrooms serve the Los Angeles market with a comprehensive product collection – including architectural hardware, designer plumbing fixtures, handcrafted doors, staircases and custom millwork – and an equally broad range of services, from millwork design and installation on construction and construction work project consulting.
Erickson is a long-time veteran of the DPHA and has been recognized by the DPHA for his company's showroom as well as Showroom Professional of the Year. His inauguration this month for a two-year term as DPHA president embodies the type of volunteer leadership that trade associations depend on to function and thrive.
