The city’s housing market appears ripe for change as the average closing price for a home fell in late May compared to April, according to the latest report from the Denver Metro Association of Realtors.
Yes but: The decline was only about a quarter of a percentage point, according to Andrew Abrams, chairman of DMAR’s Market Trends Committee.
The big picture: Price gains flattened, and inventory increases may prove to be “early signs that the gravity of higher mortgage rates may finally be pulling the Denver metro area housing market back down to earth,” reports the Denver Post.
- The stock of single-family homes increased by 111.6% compared to 2021.
Here’s a collection of entries across Metro, all under $1 million.
