The City of Janesville has begun the next cycle of line wire replacements at multiple locations across the city.
Water Company Superintendent Craig Theisenhusen says this cycle will close the East Centerway to through traffic from Milton Avenue to Parkers Drive, but will still be open to local traffic for the people who live on those streets.
Theisenhusen says the project is going very well and the replacement of the main supply line is scheduled for the week of September 19, after which the restoration work will have to be carried out.
Theisenhusen says residents may see temporary water supply disruptions while work is completed, but they are being warned beforehand.
