Japan grants Rs6.2b for water treatment plant, distribution system in Faisalabad

LAHORE – Japan will allocate 6.20 billion rupees to upgrade the water treatment plant and distribution system in Faisalabad The Ambassador of Japan, Matsuda Kuninori, informed Prime Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar about this in a letter.

The CM Usman Buzdar thanked the Japanese government and the ambassador in a letter and added that the Punjab government values ​​the Japanese cooperation to improve the quality of life of the people. Improving the supply and drainage of the water system in Faisalabad is essential, he added. Pakistan and Japan have the best relationships, and those relationships are developing every day, he continued.

In the meantime, the Japanese ambassador said that improving water supplies and drainage is important to maintain quality of life, adding that Japanese aid will help improve the quality of life for the people of Punjab. Cooperation will also continue to further strengthen bilateral relations between Japan and Punjab, he added.

CM LOOKS FOR REPORT FROM RPO DG KHAN

Punjab Prime Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has solicited a report from RPO DG Khan on the dismissal of Judge Rajanpur on the court premises for additional sessions, advising to ensure the courts’ foolproof security.
