Masters 2024: PGA Tour winner spends Masters morning trying to fix rental’s kitchen sink | This is the Loop

Adam Hadwin had a busy weekend. He has taken on not only the best that Augusta National has to offer, but also the best that the Augusta rental market has to offer. Instead of spending a moment or two practicing on the range or meditating, the PGA Tour winner spent the start of his Masters weekend fiddling with the sink in his rental home.

You can't leave the house if your wife is unhappy and the kitchen is broken. That's a bad omen for the next 36 holes.

“When you have a noon Masters tee time but first need to check the structural integrity of the rental’s kitchen sink,” wrote content queen Jessica Hadwin.

It really looks like Adam Hadwin was all under the sink, but according to Jessica, it did little to no good. The professionals are really just like us. They just want to play golf and don't want to pay a repairman.

“Seriously,” Jessica Hadwin continued. “After tinkering around down there, going out to check the plumbing and finally calling the owners, we realized it was a hand touch/movement in front of the sink.”

This is a real twist from M. Night Shyamalan and a tough break for the Hadwins. Maybe this is a good fitness and strength exercise for Adam. Do some nice stretches and distract yourself from golf. It doesn't get any weirder than some of Bryson DeChambeau's antics this week. In fact, there's still a non-zero chance that Bryson will be carrying around his own rent cut at Augusta National today, similar to the ANGC sign on Friday.

Kudos to Adam Hadwin for doing his best to keep everything running at full speed. And of course a thank you to Jessica Hadwin, who was always ready to record her husband's worries and needs.
