MillerWorks, commercial plumbing company, acquires Kelly Sheet Metal

MillerWorks has acquired Kelly Sheet Metal Inc., a regional leader in custom sheet metal products.

The two longtime Tallahassee companies announced the merger this week. They have specialized in commercial plumbing and mechanical services for more than 50 years.

MillerWorks said Kelly Sheet Metal will operate separately following the acquisition. Tom Overstreet, vice president, and Phillip Cooksey, vice president of operations, will continue to oversee day-to-day operations at Kelly Sheet Metal.

“Since 1968, when Mr. MD founded Kelly Kelly Sheet Metal, we have been providing the highest quality custom metal fabrication in Tallahassee and surrounding areas, including Millers Plumbing and Mechanical, now known as MillerWorks. “This isn’t just about bringing two companies together: It’s about uniting two legacies,” Heath Miller, president of MillerWorks, said in a statement.

Miller said Kelly Sheet Metal and MillerWorks have deep roots in the local community and a shared history of providing quality work.

“Our companies have always believed in the same core values: providing superior service and doing so with integrity,” he added. “That’s what makes this moment so special.”
