The new camera has a particularly durable pressure cable made from a high-performance polyamide compound to reduce the risk of snapshots and other mechanical damage. The special patented Flexi-Tube neck allows the cable to make more than a 90-degree bend in pipes from 1.5 “or more, or a P-trap in 1.25” and more. The cable is completely waterproof up to 3 bar pressure (or 100 feet in fresh water). Despite its compact size, the tiny 19.5 mm camera head is equipped with an advanced CMOS color camera chip, 12 white high-performance LED lights and a built-in 512 Hz probe. The latter is used in conjunction with a detection rod (sold separately) to locate the camera head at a specific point in time during the inspection.

The compact, portable image hub of the MiniFlex sanitary camera has a 5.6-inch color display with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, which is housed in a metal protective housing and equipped with daylight sun protection. The monitor can flip up when the user needs to position the camera either horizontally or horizontally. The device has recording capabilities and files (both still images and video clips) are recorded directly to an SD card.
