We created the program to address concerns about poorly maintained wastewater systems that can pollute groundwater and waterways. Our goal is to protect your family and our community.
Who is eligible to participate in the program?
MPW's wastewater treatment system is the best option for wastewater treatment. However, if you do not have access to our septic system, the program is available to all property owners in the MPW service area with a septic system. Owners of existing wastewater treatment plants without access to the sewer system are strongly encouraged to participate.
What are the benefits of participating in the program?
The program offers many benefits to participants, including:
• Annual inspections of your system and drainage field by certified professionals.
• Five years of pumping and proper disposal of waste.
• Up to $3,000 in coverage for septic tank repairs each pump cycle.
• Assist in coordinating septic tank repairs as needed.
What costs are associated with the program?
We are pleased to offer this program to our customers for just $15 per month. The benefits of the program far exceed the monthly costs.
Are there incentives for enrolling in the program?
Yes. The first 50 customers to enroll in the program will receive a $50 credit toward their monthly payments in 2025. We are also offering a special offer for the first three customers to sign up.
