Tiny houses are known to be cheaper compared to traditional houses. However, some are quite expensive despite being ready for a full-time life and actually not that tiny.
The Noyer XL is an upgraded version of the original Noyer with an additional 2.1 meters (7 feet) in length, allowing for additional space for more people. The mobile home has two bedrooms, one on the ground floor and one on the top floor, and can accommodate up to five people.
The exterior can be customized with three different shades for the roof: white, anthracite or black. Similarly, the cladding can have either a mix of horizontal wood grain or cedar steel wood grain combined with vertical steel cladding.
The house has a fully functional kitchen with a sink, a Bosch oven that can be replaced with a propane gas stove, a two-burner induction cooktop and a full-size refrigerator. The kitchen cabinets have a sleek matte black design. On the other side of the kitchen, the builder has arranged a long dining table with a black bench that offers enough space for many people to dine.
On the left side of the kitchen we find a raised living room with drawers under the raised part of the floor. This area can be designed with a small couch and maybe some bookshelves, or it can even be a workspace as a desk is already installed.
The bathroom offers ample space for a large shower stall with a seat, a regular flush toilet that can be switched for either composting or incineration, a small square sink and a medicine cabinet with a mirror.
From the bathroom we go through the hallway directly into the bedroom, which has a single bed and a wardrobe. The loft bedroom sleeps a queen-size bed and has a build-in closet by the builder.
Although this is a tiny house in size, it still costs $149,000. It was designed by Minimaliste Houses and is among the more expensive models.
