PennDOT’s emergency pipe replacement on Carverton Road starts Thursday

WILKES-BARRE – PennDOT announced Wednesday that work will begin Thursday on Carverton Road between McDermott Lane and 8th Street in Kingston Township to perform an emergency pipe replacement.

PennDOT hopes to reopen the road by the second week of October. Work is weather dependent and subject to change.

The project was scheduled to begin on Monday, September 9, but was delayed due to late delivery of materials.
