Road closure scheduled for pipe replacement on Ky. 610 near Virgie | News

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is advising motorists of a three-day closure along the Ky. 610 near Virgie. The site is located at mile point 8.8 (0.8 miles north of Ky. 1469) between Long Fork Road and Indian Creek.

Crews will remove the current pipe starting at 8:00am on Friday March 3 and will work throughout the weekend to refill and put it in place.

The road will be closed at this point until work is completed on Sunday March 5th. Drivers can access the site from either side, but cannot cross. All vehicles must use an alternate route during this time.

KYTC will carry out the work. Work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions.
