The French building materials company announced Monday that UK Plumbing Supplies will take over most of the Graham outlets, the Graham brand and website name, while Wolseley is buying a smaller number of stores. Compagnie de Saint-Gobain SA has entered into binding agreements to sell its trading business of Graham Plumbers in the UK to UK Plumbing Supplies and Wolseley.
The company has around 130 branches and 840 employees.
Graham Plumbers’ merchant business is a distributor of plumbing, heating and plumbing products and had sales of approximately 260 million euros (308.8 million US dollars) in 2020.
Saint-Gobain expects to close the transactions in the coming weeks.
