silk
SECA supplies two leading silk Products, the ROVION and AGILIOS systems.
The user-friendly ROVION pipeline inspection system is a scalable tool in which all components are fully compatible with each other.
Depending on the combination of high-quality components, tests with the ROVION system are possible for pipe diameters of 100-2,000 mm.
With a wide range of high-resolution inspection cameras – including axial cameras, pan and tilt head cameras, fisheye lens cameras or manhole inspection cameras with rotation unit – ROVION offers a modular design that allows for growth and expansion and provides configuration flexibility for the requirements any operational requirements.
Similar, iPEKs The latest generation AGILIOS system was developed with the aim of Goal to be able to carry out inspections in all situations.
SECA recommends that anyone who wants to lay the foundation for solid growth in the sewer inspection sector invest in the versatile system, which consists of a reel with a reinforced but flexible push rod in 60 m or 100 m length, a VC500 control panel and two different types of camera heads.
With its range of up to 100 m, the AGILIOS system is suitable for inspections from DN50 mm.
The multifunctional VC500 control panel allows operators to carry out inspections according to predefined standards. Thanks to the modular design, AGILIOS offers easy expansion options if required.
Colin Handley, National Technical Services Manager at SECA, saysID In comparison, AGILIOS is a push system for small diameter pipes that has the ability to navigate around curves.
“The ROVION system, on the other hand, is needed in small to large diameter pipes that run between inspection openings. These are usually straight and cover a long distance up to 500 m,” he saidID.
Keep it up And Environmental insight
SECA offers the Keep it up Cleverscan Equipment and two Environmental insight Products Quick view AirHD And Jetscanwhich are suitable for shaft, channel and pipe inspections.
The Kepso Cleverscan system is suitable for manhole, sewer and pipe inspections.
“The Cleverscan is designed for the inspection of shafts or manholes up to a depth of 10 m. It provides a very detailed analysis of the shaft with reporting functions,” saidID Mr Handley.
By using five HD cameras and laser measurement Cleverscan provides a flat scan to capture images of all parts of the shaft wall and a dense point cloud for 3D visualization.
Alternatively, the Quick view The system enables an instant and wireless HD view into any sewer with its powerful zoom optics capable the rapid assessment of sewer lines – although Mr Handley saidID It is also geared towards pipe inspections.
“The Quick view used for inspection medium on large diameter pipes – not just sewers – to quickly determine if further inspection or cleaning is required.
“Normally Quick view is not used for inspecting manholes.”
Mr Handley also saidID The Jetscan The system offered by SECA is used to determine any further requirements.
“The Jetscan is a camera that is attached to the hose of a high-pressure cleaner used to clean pipes,” he explains.
“It is used to quickly Understanding about the condition of the pipes and whether further cleaning or inspection is required.”
WinCan software
SECA’s products are supported by WinCan software and also integrate Wincan Web, a cloud-based system allows users to upload real Time Inspection data, pictures, videos and reports.
The Jetscan system is attached to the hose of a high-pressure water jet truck to quickly assess the condition of a pipe.
This content can then be shared to any other Internet-enabled device via a web browser or directly to any PC with Wincan VX software installed.
With this connectivity, operators and designers can transform how their construction teams collaborate with managers, engineers, customers and other employees who may also be out of the office.
