Facility Services and a local contractor plan to begin an emergency repair of a broken sewer line southeast of the Holden Observatory between the observatory and the Quad-Lot.
As of today, the toilet at Holden Observatory is out of order and individuals are asked to use a toilet in an adjacent building. The team plans to restore use of the toilet by the end of the day on Monday October 11, and all repairs, including the restoration, will be completed by Wednesday.
Several parking spaces on the Quad-Lot will not be accessible and pedestrians in the area will have to take short detours around the plant.
Please contact Dave Warren, Associate Director of Project Management at 315.632.5238 or [email protected] with any questions or concerns.
For the safety of everyone, you are asked to remain vigilant in work areas, watch out for route changes, follow the instructions of the construction site flags / employees at work and follow the pedestrian signs.
Weather-related and / or unforeseen circumstances can cause delays in the proposed work. If there are significant delays, updates will be provided as soon as possible.
