Store takes plumbing to the next level

Ace Hardware Plumbing Service recently celebrated its one-year anniversary of home plumbing services now available at Westlake Ace Hardware in Oklahoma City.

“We have created the perfect fit with Ace Hardware Plumbing Services that expands our business and community,” said Chris Blose, general manager at Westlake Ace Hardware.

The plumbing services location is located in a dedicated area within this Ace Hardware store in Westlake and was the first location to offer plumbing services in Oklahoma City as part of Ace Hardware’s expansion into the home services sector, it said.

“Every day we have customers in our store who need help with plumbing. This has greatly benefited our customers as we can connect them with an Ace Hardware Plumbing Services representative for immediate assistance,” said Blose.

Ace Plumbing Services specializes in comprehensive plumbing installation, repair and maintenance services for residential and commercial projects.

Specialty services offered include drain cleaning, leak detection and repair, water heater, sewer and drain repair, bathroom and kitchen installation, and gas leak detection and installation.

How it happened: A few years ago, Ace Hardware acquired Legacy Plumbing, a plumbing company in the Dallas, Texas area that now operates as the Ace Hardware company. “Under the leadership of Michelle and Theron Young, Legacy Plumbing brought extensive knowledge and expertise in the plumbing sector,” said Ace.
