Street Closure Notification: Portion of S Kentucky Avenue to Close for Sewer Repair

LAKELAND, FL (December 30, 2020) | The water utility’s sewage collection department will shut down part of South Kentucky Avenue north of East Lemon Street to repair a degraded sewer service. This closure will begin next Sunday evening (January 3, 2021) at 11 p.m. and will last for the duration of the project. The project is expected to take approximately 12 hours, assuming no unforeseen circumstances. South Kentucky Avenue will be completely closed at the intersection of East Lemon Street and Service Alley south of Main Street. Adequate traffic control and detour signage will be in place to minimize disruption to pedestrians and vehicle traffic.
