CALGARY, ALBERTA, September 30, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Fast-growing, Calgary-based Tapmaster Inc. will be demonstrating its line of revolutionary, hands-free faucet controls at this year’s Calgary Fall Home Show from September 30th to October 3rd at the BMO Center ( Booth 441).

Why revolutionary? The answer is simple: Tapmasters® interrupt the chain of infection (prevent the spread of germs and viruses) at cross-contamination point no. 1: the tap. Tapmaster® is unique in that it does not use sensors or electronics. It is powered by the water pressure in your pipelines.

Tapmaster® are designed to work better than sensors. Tapmaster® founder, Calgary-based inventor Peter Pubben, got tired of waving his hands in front of sensor taps without anything happening! He developed a new way to switch any faucet to hands-free operation.

Pubben has developed controllers that can be easily connected to any tap, regardless of whether it is new or already installed. They use the existing pressure in the water pipes to activate the flow with a tip of the toe or a slight pressure on the knee. More reliable than sensors, these non-electronic, hands-free controls save water, money, and life.

The Tapmaster® team, including Peter Pubben, will be at the show to answer questions and explain how the Tapmaster® system works.

The 2021 foot-activated models are attractive, chrome-plated brass fittings. They could become the kitchen and bathroom installation of choice for pandemic-conscious interior designers. The knee activators? You will never see them! Hidden behind your cabinet door under the sink, run the water by moving 1/1000 of an inch … with a slight nudge with your knee.

Still wondering why you want to visit the Tapmaster® booth? Here’s why: The family-run Tapmaster® team answers questions like these: 1) How does a Tapmaster® break the chain of infection? 2) How well has it been received in the North American dental industry? 3) How many are installed in Toronto’s largest hospital?

A visit to booth 441 at the Home Show is almost as good as watching the Tapmaster® team process the product parts and assemble them one by one in their NE Calgary store.
