The Spanish designer behind luxury faucets

Hansgrohe-Axor, the renowned brand of bathroom and kitchen faucets, combines advanced German technology with contributions from renowned architects, resulting in a collection of high-quality, luxurious faucets. These faucets are installed in leading hotels worldwide, with notable installations at the Norman Hotel and the Kempinski in Israel.

In her faucet and sink designs, Urquiola combines her architectural skills with a minimalist style that she prefers and embodies. Urquiola was born in Oviedo, studied architecture in Spain and received a doctorate in Italian design. She is an expert in interior design, architecture and furniture design. Her studio, based in Milan, employs around 40 people. King Juan Carlos appreciates her designs and she has received prestigious awards from him.
