Thieves Stole $20,000 Worth of Tools from this Tyler Plumbing Co.

I often speculate about how much thieves and fraudsters could achieve if they invested the same effort they put into their criminal activities into something productive for themselves and society. But unfortunately the criminal element is omnipresent.

Do you have any information that can help this East Texas company get their tools back?

This past July 4th weekend, Rub-a-Dub Plumbing returned to its offices to discover that there had been a break-in that had resulted in the loss of approximately $20,000 in tools that their company had used to satisfy the needs of the community – and not to mention feeding their families.

KLTV reports that owner Brent McDonald said he “[hopes the thief/thieves] getting caught. He continued:

“You can’t possibly make that much money with it. It’s not worth taking the risk of stealing from someone who has worked hard to invest in their tools so they can provide for their family. It is shameful and disgusting.”

McDonald is asking the East Texas community for help. Keep an eye out, and if you notice anyone selling plumbing tools or supplies like “a spotlight, locator, camera, and special heads for pipe lining,” please let them know.

If you come across any of these stolen tools, and especially if they have seemingly appeared out of nowhere, Rub-a-Dub Plumbing encourages you to contact Ginny at (903) 525-6336.

And if you are the thief and are reading this right now, please find a better way to spend the limited hours of your limited life. There is a better, more peaceful and more productive way to live.

Take a moment and look. Do you recognize any of them? Do you recognize their last names? Maybe it’s a family friend or your daughter’s best friend or the daughter of a member of your small church group. They are important.
