Tradesman’s tools stolen from van while working in Amblecote

A cheeky thief ran away in broad daylight with over £ 1,000 worth of power and plumbing tools after breaking into a dealer’s van while working in Amblecote.

The incident occurred on Thursday, December 15, between 1pm and 3pm in Trefoil Gardens.

Items worth approximately £ 1,500 were taken while the plumber was parked in front of a property he was working on.

The perpetrator is said to have broken into the locked delivery van with a crowbar.

A crowbar is believed to have been used to gain access to the van through a side door

Items taken with you are: a DeWalt SDS cordless drill, Makita impact wrench, Makita charger and batteries, Makita orbital sander, a DeWalt circular saw, multimeter, blowtorch equipment and a FatMax 1.2 meter spirit level.

A West Midlands Police spokesman confirmed they were investigating the incident.
