When it’s time for a little rest, there’s a Ququq modular kitchen and bed unit. The former has a pull-out drawer with a two-burner stove and storage underneath. The kitchen also houses a cool box and sink with water storage above.

For overnight adventures, a two-person bed and universal tablet holder keep you entertained. Other Volkswagen accessories include the ID. Buzz door sills, all-weather floor mats and a rear bumper skid plate. There are also valve stem caps with the VW logo and a Volkswagen license plate frame.

The concept was shown alongside a selection of lifestyle accessories available for purchase at driversgear.vw.com. That includes a surfboard for $949.95 and a cool Solo Stove that retails for $119.95.

In other ID. According to Buzz News, the company introduced an art car based on the Euro van. It includes “Love the Earth” in 25 languages, including Māori and Navajo.

Volkswagen says the design was “inspired by a poster that Dr. Bob Hieronimus created for Earth Day in 1972 on behalf of the initiator of the holiday”. As part of this effort, Hieronimus worked with graphic design specialist Tim Wygal to create the one-off van.

As a reminder: The ID. Buzz is coming to the US next year and features a 91 kWh battery powering a 282 hp (210 kW / 286 hp) rear motor. A twin-engine all-wheel drive will also be available, increasing the output to around 330 hp (246 kW / 335 hp).

With the van’s sale months away, Pablo Di Si, CEO of Volkswagen Group of America, is already warning dealers about price premiums that could hurt the van’s launch and the brand’s relationship with customers. Automotive News reports he said, “We can’t have serves” and “We can’t make a mistake.” [with] this vehicle.”
