Winsupply acquires Allegheny Pipe & Supply, serving contractors in Pittsburgh, Penn., region | State
DAYTON, Ohio, April 5, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Winsupply Inc., one of the largest distributors in the country, has acquired the assets of Allegheny Pipe & Supply, a distributor of industrial pipes, valves and fittings in Coraopolis, Penn., a district west of Pittsburgh. The company is recognized as the primary distributor of pipes, valves, fittings and related carbon and stainless steel products with on-site cutting, grooving and tapping capabilities Pittsburgh Area and beyond to the three-state region of Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio. The terms of purchase were not disclosed.
Third generation owner Jim Morse, President of Allegheny Pipe & Supply, and his brother, Tom Morse, Vice President, plans to invest again in significant stakes in the company with Winsupply Inc. as the majority shareholder. Jim Morse will remain president and Tom will be second in command. The location will continue to operate as Allegheny Pipe & Supply under the legal name of Winsupply Coraopolis PA Co.
